I have a small but pretty nice guitar collection (I think so); An 1983 Ibanez RoadStar II, a Lotus Less Paul Copy and an American Standard Stratocaster. My main instument is Bass and I play a Conklin, Ibanez and my primary bass is a Geddy Lee Fender Jazz.
The Bass Rig. I was running a Hartke 2000 through a 2x10 on a 1x15 cabs but it seemed like I didn't have enough power and not the right sound. So I went out and bought an Ampeg BA210, it was ok at first and has a great sound but just seemed to get worse in terms of electronics (the DI buzzed) and cracking noises. I finally got fed up and went out and bought an Ashdown 414T Cab, it's a 4x10 with a Tweeter. So now I am back to my Hartke 2000 pushing 200 watts through the new 600watt Ashdown cab. So far I am very impressed! I will run with this for a while and we will see if I go with my original plan of buying an Ashdown Klystron 1000 Amp or just pick up another Ashdown Cab and stick with the Hartke. I have also just recently picked up a Hartke 3500 so now I have a spare!
